— Please. I recognize that royalty issues are messy and not fun. And especially concerning Bibles, difficult. However, you have the best engine and GUI around — I am more than willing to pay for a translation:
ESV – English Standard Version
The dilemma is that the "memory" product is not useful — even reading in a translation that you've memorized so much of in another translation is difficult. I can default to the KJV, but that's a hard sell.
WEB seems closest to ESV and NASB, Webster to NKJV, and NETN to NIV or some of the other looser ones.
I applaud all your efforts (especially since you appear to be the only one around in other languages); but even there, wouldn't you know, the only foreign one I would purchase would be Korean.
So, that's my 2 cents. I spent a lot of time in advertising – maybe you could somehow major* on *foreign* translations with the added fabulous array of English ones as well. I really want to get the SE (for notes and hopefully an alphabetical-by-Book listing of bookmarks within categories — can't figure out the current system). I'm just waiting for ESV or NASB, or it can't be my "replacement Bible."
Thanks so much for all your work. Looking forward to hearing more.
